Welcome to About2Bounce Inflatable Hire. These Terms & Conditions outline important safety and operational guidelines to ensure a smooth, enjoyable, and safe experience when using our bouncy castle hire services. Your safety, satisfaction, and the integrity of our equipment are our top priorities.

Please take a few moments to read the following carefully before your hire date.

🔹 Space Requirements

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the chosen inflatable fits within the intended area. Accurate dimensions are listed on each product page. If the inflatable cannot be installed due to space restrictions not previously communicated, the full hire fee will still apply.

🔹 Supervision

A responsible adult (18+) must supervise the inflatable at all times during use. Unsupervised use is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

🔹 Venue Restrictions

We only hire to secure private gardens or enclosed venues (October-April). Unfortunately, we cannot deliver to communal or shared gardens, as our insurance policy does not extend to these areas.

🔹 Delivery Requirements

  • A designated adult must be present at delivery to sign the hire agreement and disclaimer.

  • Access to a safe and working power supply is required at the time of setup.

  • Equipment will not be left unattended, and setup cannot proceed without access to power.

🔹 Usage Guidelines

To maintain cleanliness and safety:

  • Prohibited items near or on the inflatable include: food, drinks, face paint, silly string, confetti, glitter, felt tips, biros, or any staining substances.

  • Before use, all participants must remove shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges, and any sharp objects.

  • Climbing, hanging from, or sitting on inflatable walls is strictly prohibited.

  • Heels are not permitted on safety mats; damage caused by heels will incur repair charges.

🔹 Capacity & Use

  • Avoid overcrowding the inflatable. Maximum capacity varies by unit and must be observed.

  • Mixing users of significantly different ages or sizes at the same time is not permitted for safety reasons.

🔹 Power Requirements

A mains power supply must be available within 25 metres of the setup location. We do not supply or permit the use of generators.

🔹 Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Bookings may be cancelled without penalty up to 48 hours before the hire date.

  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Rescheduling is permitted within 6 months, subject to availability.

🔹 Adverse Weather Policy

For safety reasons, we reserve the right to cancel or terminate hire in the event of:

  • Heavy rainfall

  • Wind/gust speeds exceeding 24 mph for small inflatables and 18mph for larger inflatables

While no refunds are issued due to sudden rain during hire, we will offer rescheduling where possible if we need to cancel before the hire begins due to weather

🔹 Sun Safety & Water Use

  • Please avoid applying sun cream while users are on the inflatable, as it creates a slipping hazard.

  • Do not add water or turn inflatables into water slides or features, unless specifically designed for that purpose.
